100 things you wanna do in 2013.

I found this from someone's blog.

Although January is almost over, I just started it.

You can write anything, any dreams, any desires.

It seems kinda easy because you just need to line up what you wanna do.

However, it is haaaard.

It's taking a while, but I wanna write it up and see how it goes in the end of 2013.

It was pretty warm in Tokyo.

Can't wait for spring to come!!!

Must watch...

Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Anne Hathaway are astonishing.

Also, Samantha Barks, who played Eponine is wonderful.

On youtube, you can also see long interviews and stories behind the scenes.
Make-up, costumes, music, singing. . . everything is well-thought.

映画の良さ、ミュージカルの良さ、原作の良さ、それぞれあって、
映画って、なかなかミュージカルや原作を越えられない限界があると思うのですが、
この映画は映画だからこそできること、をやっているから感動があると思います。

例えば、冒頭のシーン。
あれは、映画だからこその迫力。

他にも背景の美しさ、カメラワークなど。
インタビューでヒュー・ジャックマンは
音楽と歌を別にしたからこそ、歌に集中できた、と言っています。
生のオーケストラではない、という映画のデメリットをメリットに変えた良い事例だと思いました。

サマンサ・バークスのエポニーヌの演技と歌が素晴らしい。
彼女、イギリスのLes Miserablesでエポニーヌ役をやっている方だそうです。
このシーン、切なくて本当に感動します。
youtubeにサマンサ・バークスがエポニーヌに選ばれた瞬間の映像が出ています。
それが泣ける。

アン・ハサウェイのDreamed a Dreamももちろん素晴らしい。
彼女の母親としての表情。娘と一緒にいるシーンはないのに、
あれだけ母親としての存在感を出せるってすごい。
そして、同時に一人の女性としての哀しみもとても伝わってきます。

Cafe VINAKA in Carlsbad, CA

I have to say I truly miss cafe "VINAKA" in Carlsbad.

Too bad I do not have any photos to show in my blog. . . 

I used to go there just to hang out, study, and have a nice cup of coffee.

I remember studying there till late night and driving back home on Coast Highway.

I loved the view, the wind, and the smell. . .

I have so many clear images in my head.

Talking about our future, getting some seafood from the outside restaurant in front of Vinaka (oh! that shrimp and calamari were delicious! especially when we eat outside.)

I love their ice cream, too!

I didn't realize how precious those times were at that time.

Definitely one of the places I have to go back sometime.

特にお気に入りがこちら。

ちょっとメロウなテンポで、今までとはまた違った感じ。
愛に満ちた曲です。

注目なのが
When It's All Over
なんと、曲の最後でAliciaの息子のEgyptくんが登場してるんです！
超～かわいい。
ママとのかけあいがたまりません。
途中、「showtime」って言ってるらしいんだけど、
それがどうしても「ひょいひょい」って言ってるように聞こえてしまうー。
超かわいい。

その他にも
Not Even the Kingの歌詞も良い。

Aliciaは見る度にどんどん美しくなってるし、
キャリアもどんどんステップアップして、role model的存在。
妊婦の時期も美しかったけど、
ママになってもやっぱり素敵で、本当に憧れる！

Loveeeeeee Song/Rihanna Ft. Future

超カッコイイ。

どの曲も完成度が高くて、
リピートしてても飽きない音と声。

リアーナって本当にいろんな顔を持っている。
Half of Me、Nobodies Businessも良いし、
David GuettaとのRight Nowも良い。
あ、What NowやNo Love Allowedも好き。
全部良いんです。

聴いてると思いっきり生きたくなる。
